August 15, 2017 [song]: Burn the Witch – Radiohead (art rock, orchestral pop)

The first single off Radiohead’s highly anticipated 9th album is an art rock piece where  choppy strings and a synth-y, fuzzy bass drives the song – this piece reignites Radiohead’s much deserved popularity and buzz.

“Burn the witch, burn the witch, we know where you live…”

Radiohead breaks into the charts with a single that breaks the traditional rock and pop barriers and creates a masterpiece which spans across genres. This song is critically acclaimed by many critics, some describing this song as “…thrilling … certainly the kind of return – bold and expansive, as well as dark and claustrophobic – that the world might have hoped for.”

Burn the Witch was released May 3rd, 2016, and reached number 9 on the US Rock Song Chart.
